We are currently working on a vacancy for a Bid Writer / Copywriter to be based in a Manchester office for a tier 1 contractor in the construction Industry. You will revolved around a central 'work-winning' team where you will be responsible for making the written content in the bid submissions making them easy and engaging to read.

The correct applicant should have the following knowledge;

  • Degree qualification or similar in a predominantly written subject.
  • Journalistic experience is desirable.
  • Experience in the construction industry or an equivalent engineering-led sector is desirable but not a must.
  • Comfortable in developing written content that describes construction processes in straightforward language to allow stakeholders to fully understand our value proposition and its benefits.The opportunity will require;
  • Have the drive to work flexible deadlines as submission deadlines are immovable.
  • Ability to support other offices in the UK during major tenders.
  • You will be working in a high pressure, high perfuming team with a need to win. You must have the same inner drive for success.
