Introduction:

Working in partnership with Scottish Water to deliver Repair and Maintenance operations throughout mainland Scotland on the sewer network ensuring a seamless customer experience. We employ a large number of teams across Scotland that respond to customer escalated jobs with varying levels of priority, our teams carry out multiple jobs each and every day to ensure a smooth customer journey on behalf our client.

Key responsibilities:
  • Are you looking to join a leading utilities company working maintaining and repairing the water network for your local communities?
  • If so, we have an excellent opportunity for a customer- centric, Reinstatement Team leader to join our reinstatement division.
  • You will be responsible for assisting ensuring quality road repairs in accordance with legislation.
  • Duties will involve carrying out essential repair work in the highway, on private property and premises, or as instructed by the Front-Line Manager. The Reinstatement Team Leader/ Operative, where necessary will capture all precise measurements and locations as the task is completed and forward to the planning team through the use of electronic devices.
  • The Reinstatement Team Leader must be able to work on their own initiative and be fully aware of NRSWA and relevant legislation. The ideal candidate will be physically capable for undertaking manual works in all weathers.

  • You will need a full driving licence and NRSWA would be beneficial, as well as demonstrable capability of using IT and smart phone technology

Skills and experience required:
  • UK driving licence HGV preferable.
  • First Aid
  • Abrasive Wheels
  • Manual Handling
  • Pedestrian Roller
  • Suitable reinstatement experience / qualification
  • Able to operate in a flexible and adaptable manner and work as part of a team
  • Have reasonable written and numerical skills
  • NRSWA Operative
  • Open to attend training programmes to increase individual skills and knowledge
