Breedon Group plc is currently seeking an individual to join their team at Leinthall Quarry in Herefordshire. This is a dual role, encompassing both Weighbridge and Sales Agent duties.
On the Weighbridge you will ensure despatch transactions are executed accurately and efficiently, making sure weights are recorded and paperwork is issued and is compliant with relevant standards. Customer service is key as you will also be planning and managing site shipping requirements. You should therefore be able meet customer demand whilst maintaining the desired level of customer service.
As a Sales Agent you will generate sales of aggregate and concrete products through the effective management and development of new and existing customers and accounts. Duties will include the management of territory information, proactively chasing sales and handling day to day customer enquiries and queries.
It is essential that you are able to demonstrate experience of delivering excellent customer service through sales and account management. You will also be IT literate and an excellent communicator. Ideally, you will have knowledge of road haulage operations and experience in a similar role. An awareness of the quarrying and building materials industry would be advantageous.
