Job Title: Design Technician
Location: West Sussex
Salary: £25,000 - 35,000
Permanent
Produce highly-engineered light gauge steel| Commercial and residual buildings | Volumetric Modular buildings| Fun and supportive working environment
Design Technician required for an innovative modular construction company looking to expand their team in West Sussex
The role:
* You can manage your own workflow, making sure you are meeting deadlines
* Support the development of tools which help the production processes.
* You will update existing drawings to embrace new changes which are approved via the change control process
* Be able to provide a 3d modular construction schemes with technical specification
* You will perform other design and drafting activities
* Be able to develop specs such as rigs, controls and tools
* Full turnkey projects, with provisional M&E designs
You will have:
* You will have advanced knowledge of Autodesk Revit
* Be good team member and be a part of a supporting team
* Experience or an interest in the offsite industry
* Excellent written, numerical and verbal communication skills
* Ideally have experience with residential new build
* You will be proactive and willing to adapt to change
* Automotive, Engineering, Aerospace or defence industries is not essential but desirable
