Key Responsibilities
Our Strategic Projects team require a Bid Co-ordinator to assist the wider Bid team, generating profitable tenders for authorisation and submission. You will assist with the production of submissions by co-ordinating the processes of designing the solutions, estimating the costs and planning the implementation of projects in line with our customers' requirements. You will work collaboratively, and sometimes independently to craft compelling answers that demonstrate Kier's expertise. You may also manage or heavily contribute to pre-qualification questionnaires. You will implement and comply with policies, procedures and processes including SHE, pre-construction and risk management.
- Manage and deliver prequalification questionnaire responses from receipt to submission
- Identify client drivers and requirements
- Produce grammatically correct, highly relevant and persuasive submissions content
- Support tender processes from receipt through to submission
- Consistently meet deadlines
- Support the team objectives as required
- Work with bid teams to complete high quality submission documents
- Effectively engage the wider technical team as required
- Shape each submission to ensure that this is seen as 'bespoke' to each opportunity
- Ability to challenge and come up with new ideas
- Consistently ensure an up-to-date library of data for ease of reference by the whole team on future opportunities
- Work with key people across the business to produce high quality marketing literature
- Work on any written documents required, such as CVs, project case studies, presentations, award entries, etc
- Take ownership and responsibility for delivering documents on time and to a high standard
- Support wider marketing and communications strategies
- Develop project-specific communication plans, gathering project information and promoting key messages internally and externally in line with wider communications strategies.
A dynamic, articulate, organised individual is required to join our submissions and marketing team. This is an exciting opportunity for an excellent all-round communicator to play a central role in growing the business. You will have an inquisitive nature and have excellent attention to detail. Also, some experience of using Adobe InDesign and Adobe creative suite with an interest in graphic design would be advantageous.
