Mid-Weight Interior Designer Job in London

Currently recruiting for two Mid-Weight Interior Designer positions for a highly regarded interior design firm based in Knightsbridge, London. This prestigious practice has a growing portfolio of residential work, from listed buildings to luxury apartments, and is looking to appoint two mid-weight interiors designers with proven experience working for a similar London-based luxury design firm.

Established almost three decades ago, this Top 100 House and Garden practice has a solid and far-reaching client base of HWNIs, developers, and commercial clients. Covering all aspects of design, from concept through to completion, the firm provides a range of bespoke services to meet their clients' needs. This role will play a key part in the design of projects and provides a great opportunity to work on projects in some of the most affluent areas across London and overseas.

Role & Responsibilities

  • To assist with projects across all stages, from concept through to completion, including on-site
  • Assist with design intent and concept development stages
  • Assist with FF&E specification, selection, pricing, procurement, and documentation
  • Create mood boards, presentations, and concept designs
  • Assist with technical drawings, 2D and 3D
  • Ensure administrative records are maintained and accurate
  • Liaise with external contacts, suppliers, contractors, etc.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years' experience working on high-end residential projects, ideally with a similar luxury design firm
  • Degree qualified in interior design, interior architecture, or architecture
  • Experience liaising with clients and third parties, good knowledge of suppliers is highly beneficial
  • Understanding of the full FF&E procurement process
  • Good technical skills and ability to use AutoCAD, SketchUp, and the Adobe Suite.
