We are Kier, one of the UK's leading Construction and Infrastructure services, working on projects such as Hinkley Point C and Mogden Sewage Treatment Works. Kier Infrastructure Major Projects are currently recruiting for a Planner to be responsible for developing, communicating, monitoring and reviewing all aspects of the project programme, across all stages.
Key Responsibilities
In this exciting Planner role, you'll produce the programme for acceptance by the tender programme and complete monthly contract programme updates. You will develop the detailed construction programme with the operations team made of agents, engineers and foremen, and lead the look ahead programme and programme meetings. The Planner will work with the possession planner to ensure all requirements are satisfied to facilitate railway possession works. Working with nPlan to facilitate ongoing machine learning QSRAs against the programme and the commercial team to manage any contract changes.
What do we need from you?
An excellent communicator who is able to take the lead with client interfaces, that has strong leadership, management, and problem solving skills. We are looking for a proactive, enthusiastic Planner who has a collaborative approach with good attention to detail. You will have proven capability working to NR12 Target Cost contracts and extensive experience of Primavera. Relevant qualifications - Degree level or relevant experience.
