Protocol are looking for a Deputy Head of School of Business to work with a university based in Leeds. Role Responsibilities:

You will support the Head of School of Business in leading the team to ensure that targets are met for student recruitment, retention, experience and satisfaction.
You will also encourage excellence in academic and operational performance of the School, ensuring the delivery of KPIs, in areas including portfolio development and delivery, developing Research and Knowledge Exchange activity and quality assurance.
You will deputise for the Head of School when required.
You will support with the delivery of teaching in a relevant specialism.
You will work to ensure that high-quality teaching is delivered across the School of Business, placing focus on student experience and satisfaction.
The person & qualifications:

As Deputy Head of School, you will have leadership experience, demonstrable evidence of developing and motivating colleagues and will combine the role with a reduced teaching load.
You will also play a key role in contributing to the Faculty achieving its strategic objectives as well as to the wider academic leadership of the University.
You will hold a PhD (or be near completion) within a relevant subject area.
You will be a Fellow of the HEA, or be committed to gaining Fellow status within 6 months of appointment.
You will also have a Postgraduate qualification relevant to teaching in Higher Education.
You will have a track record of working within a similar position, with a strong track record of effective leadership and enhancing relevant curriculums.
