Protocol is working closely with a college in West Cumbria, in their search for a passionate Electrical Installations Lecturer.
The College has a £7 million Construction Skills Centre and ACS Gas Safety Centre, and has just opened its Civil Engineering Training Centre last year.
The successful candidate will have a wide range of experience in the Electrical Installation sector along with the drive and passion to contribute to the expansion of the department as we strive towards becoming an outstanding provider of education and training. You will be an excellent communicator, combined with advanced organisational skills and have the ability to work with people across a broad range of sectors. This role will compliment a strong existing team and build upon our vision for the future as we grow and develop our state of the art Construction Skills Centre.
In this position you will be required to teach on the college's current T-Level programme, up to Level 3.
This position is permanent and full time.
The salary is £26,573 to £37,839 per annum.
The person & qualifications
Has an Industry recognised Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation competencies or equivalent.
Has experience and knowledge of renewable/sustainable technology installations.
Having knowledge in 18th Inspection & Testing Qualifications is advantageous.
Has a teaching qualification.
Has a DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
