Location: Windy Harbour and then A66
Contract: Permanent, Fulltime
Salary: £competitive
Responsibilities
As a General Foreman, you'll manage the resources such that the works are efficiently delivered and work with the Works Manager to effectively manage risks and identify opportunity.
Your day to day will include:
- deliver site inductions and toolbox talks and ensure SHE register is maintained and up to date
- contribute to SHE plans, evaluate method statements and risk assessments
- issue permits to work and sign offs
- check specification and drawings against works completed and materials used.
- planning/programming and attend progress meetings as required
Who are we looking for?
This role of General Foreman is great for you if have:
- experience in all aspects of construction including roads and earthworks
- have knowledge of Health & Safety
- have IT, planning, prioritising and decision-making skills
- commercial awareness and communication skills
