We're looking for a Senior Stakeholder Officer to join our Highways team on the M6 Lune Gorge project based in Penrith. Location: Penrith - remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required

Contract: Permanent - flexible and part-time hours available if desired, just let us know

Salary: Up to £34k + Car + Benefits



Responsibilities



As a Senior Stakeholder Officer, you'll be working within the Highways team on the M6 Lune Gorge project, supporting them in establishing the relationship with our client National Highways, our stakeholders and the local community affected by the scheme.


Your day to day will include:



  • Manage key stakeholder relationships across the project in accordance with the stakeholder strategy
  • Lead for M6 Lune Gorge stakeholder issues and inquiries
  • Drive customer-centric thinking and behaviours across the project to ensure all teams put the customers and stakeholders at the heart of all decisions
  • Identify and get involved in social value opportunities for the company - charitable, educational or community events
What are we looking for?



This role of Senior Stakeholder Officer is great for you if:



  • Have experience in a similar role dealing with members of the public and can demonstrate being customer focussed
  • You can identify requirements for customer training, planning and where appropriate, delivering training to drive improvements
  • You are able to effectively engage with internal stakeholders, knowing when to escalate an issue
