Location: Coldharbour Depot - remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required
Contract: Permanent - flexible and part-time hours available if desired, just let us know
Salary: £Competitive + £4.5k car allowance + benefits
Responsibilities
As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll be dealing with all aspects of financial control of Highways maintenance works under NEC4 options A and E
Your day to day will include:
- Ensuring cash flow is maximised including ensuring payments are received on time
- To assess, review and mitigate commercial and contractual risks and implement Kier Group's policies for risk management
- Managing sub-contractors including sending out enquiries, collating prices, comparing with tender, negotiation, order placement, agreement of account and payment
- Ensuring accurate cost capture and robust application process.
- Provide commercial input including financial and contractual performance forecasts to the management team
What are we looking for?
This role of Quantity Surveyor is great for you if you are:
- Educated to Degree level, or equivalent experience
- Experience of NEC contracts
- Full UK Driving Licence
