As a result of continuous, sustained growth, an exciting new opportunity exists for an ambitious, highly skilled Project Manager with a passion for delivering on time and within budget, to join an industry renowned, tech focussed team with a global footprint, as they continue to expand.

Working collaboratively between departments, the successful Project Manager will oversee the delivery of a range of services across a wide portfolio of high value projects within the high end residential smart home technology sector. Applications are particularly encouraged from individuals with transferable, industry recognised project management skills or accreditation, with the ability to take full ownership of very large contracts.

Individuals with an interest in technology with hands on experience gained from within the IT, tech or construction industries are of particular interest. The ideal candidate will be an exceptional communicator and incredibly well organised, ensuring that deadlines are met whilst consistently meeting our clients exacting standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working with our internal teams to determine the required deliverables for any given project (product, labour, and any other items).
  • Project management of the purchasing, manufacturing, assembly and delivery of project equipment.
  • Project management the labour teams (design, installation, commissioning etc) to ensure that projects have the resource they need, when they need it.
  • Communicate with site teams, keeping them appraised of progress, and in particular project delivery dates.
  • Communicate with internal teams, ensuring they are aware of any deadlines that must be hit in order to meet any external deadlines.
  • Management of the project change order process, ensuring that our clients are aware - at the earliest opportunity - of the financial and time impact of any changes made.
  • The keeping of our internal systems up to date, so that the wider company has visibility of a project's financials and progress.
  • Work very closely with the wider team to deliver a suite of services, ensuring clients feel like they are dealing with "one team".



Skills & Experience

  • Be a true Project Manager at your core, managing, people, product, planning, finance and change.
  • Proven experience of working in a large projects environment. We are happy to consider experience from all sectors, but experience in construction or technology would be advantageous.
  • Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to liaise with clients and project teams.
  • A willingness to travel for short periods where necessary.
  • A keen eye for detail, including a good grasp of numbers.
  • A great collaborator: the delivery of a successful project requires a well-functioning team.
  • Great organisation skills with a pro-active nature.
  • A great negotiator and not afraid of having difficult conversations.
