JOB DESCRIPTION:
My client who are an exciting Facilities Management company are looking for a Mobile Fabric Engineer to cover commercial sites across Yorkshire.
They are looking for an experienced Fabric Engineer / Mobile Handyman who has ideally worked in a previous maintenance role and has PPM experience. They are looking for someone from an all round handyman background. This is a great opportunity with the opportunity to progress.
This role is a permanent role working 40 hours per week Monday - Friday. Standard hours are 8am - 4.30pm however flexibility is available for earlier/later start if desired. Overtime is available but not mandatory.
Daily responsibilities will include:
- Planned and preventative maintenance
- Looking after the fabric of the building including:
- Minor Joinery
- Minor plastering
- Painting (touching up)
- PPM checks, water flushing, fire extinguishers etc
- Carrying out work safely and efficiently
- Building relationships with client and contractors on site
Requirements for the role
- Experienced Fabric Engineer / Handyperson
- PPM experience
- Multi Skilled
- Reliable and can work as a team
