BIM Coordinator Job in Bath

BIM Coordinator job available with a workplace interior design and fit-out company in Bath, South West England! The ideal candidate will have a number of years experience working in a commercial fit-out environment and be proficient managing BIM systems. This position offers a salary of up to £50,000 + benefits, and the opportunity to assist in the development of the BIM/technical team as the company continues to grow!

Our client offers a wide range of services across workplace strategy, office design and fit-out, return to work planning, and furniture consultancy. They're a medium-size team with a strong client base across the Southwest and London. You will be overall BIM Coordinator for a variety of interior design and fit-out projects.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Overall BIM coordination and management as the business integrates further with the systems
  • Maintenance of content, BIM libraries and templates
  • Development of BIM protocols and execution plans, alongside other relevant documentation
  • Work with the wider team to arrange CPDs and internal training sessions, driving procedures and standards of use, championing best practice
  • BIM supply chain assessments
  • Assist with handovers and ensure clear communication at relevant project stages, regularly updating internal teams
  • Keep up to date with industry trends, technology, and BIM related plugins
  • Mentoring and training of new Revit Technicians, as and when required

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years' industry experience, ideally within commercial fit-out
  • Highly competent in Revit, AutoCAD, Dynamo, and BIM360
  • Management/mentoring experience is highly beneficial
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
