Location: Birmingham
Contract: Full time - (With agile working options)
Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum
Responsibilities
As Communications Assistant you'll be working within the customer services and communications team, supporting them in a variety of ways, including, utilising various IT packages, assisting with their communication plan, providing a responsive front-line service via written communication with members of the public. You will be the first point of contact for all daily communication activities on this large multi-faceted contract.
Your day to day will include:
- Liaising with stakeholders such as, Birmingham city councillors, members of parliament and the public
- Issuing internal & external communications to all staff
- Developing and rolling both internal & external communications campaigns
- Working with the client on campaigns and public works notifications
- Supporting the Communications Manager in all business activities
This role of Communications Assistant is great for you if you can:
- Show experience in a similar role with great attention to detail
- Write in a creative and engaging manner
- Coordinate activities across multiple workstreams and groups
