Location: Rushden, Northamptonshire - remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required.
Contract: Permanent, full-time - flexible and part-time hours available if desired, just let us know.
Responsibilities
In this Communications Executive role, you will support in the production and delivery of a Communications and Marketing strategy that supports Kier's purpose and strategic goals. Working collaboratively with our Corporate Affairs team, you'll support the delivery of Digital Communications, Content and Events and to support a range of stakeholders and ensure their communication needs are delivered. You will also create engaging and modern internal and digital communications via a range of channels, including our employee app and create effective briefs for external suppliers when required. This role will also involve populating internal and external communications trackers to forecast planned activity and support the delivery of in-person and virtual events.
Who are we looking for?
Ideally, you'll hold a Communications or Journalism qualification or actively working towards attaining and have previous experience within a similar role and a proven ability to produce engaging written content. You'll be highly organised with good attention to detail and have a broad understanding of various social media platforms and communications monitoring tools to measure effectiveness and its relation to shaping our future activities. You'll also be proficient in MS Office and previous experience in coordinating live events.
