Position: Contracts Manager

Location: Leinster, but some travel is required

Salary: Neg Doe, Plus Car, Plus Benefits

The role will involve the management of multiple smaller smoke ventilation and glazing projects.

You will be an organised, process-orientated individual who successfully manages projects to completion, on time and in budget whilst maintaining communication channels both internally and externally.

Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with clients to identify and define requirements, scope and objectives
  • Analyse risks and opportunities
  • Break projects into doable actions and set timeframes
  • Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment and information
  • Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management
  • Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports
  • Use tools to monitor working hours, plans and expenditures
  • Ensure standards and requirements are met through conducting quality assurance tests
  • Issue all appropriate safety paperwork - RAMS etc
  • Manage site meetings with Contractors and Design teams and represent the company professionally
  • Make sure that clients' needs are met as projects evolve
  • Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise
  • Work with the Site/Contract Manager to ensure satisfactory and on-budget completion of project

The Individual:

  • Ideally from an Electrical or Mechanical discipline - electrical experience would be an advantage
  • AutoCAD experience would be an advantage
  • Proven work experience as a Project Coordinator/Manager or similar role
  • Experience in project management, from conception to delivery
  • Experience on construction sites
  • Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management
  • Strong client-facing and teamwork skills
  • Ability to delegate to other team members
  • Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance control
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project and Microsoft Planner
  • Full, clean driving licence
