Kier and it's Alliance with South West Water are passionate about water. We help to provide clean and waste water services to c. 1.7 million people in Cornwall, Devon and parts of Somerset and Dorset.

In this role you will be undertaking high quality electrical installation, repairs and maintenance work in accordance with regulations and legislation. You will also be involved in fault-finding and diagnostic work as required to repair and maintain electrical installation, carry out inspection and testing, whilst recording results and completing the appropriate test certification.

What do we need from you?

We are looking for an enthusiastic Electrician who holds qualifications of either NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, City & Guilds 236 Part 1 & 2, 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations or equivalent. It would also be advantageous to have electrical experience within the water industry and industrial/ commercial site experience. In addition, having working knowledge of maintenance and fault finding within a live water treatment facility would also stand you in great stead to be successful.

You will be working in a team of multi skilled engineers and would be required to go on the standby rota (1 week in 7) as well as working to high safety standards at all times.
