Location: Basingstoke - Working in the Hampshire and Berkshire regions.
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £35 - £42k +OT (depending on experience)
Responsibilities
As an experienced HGV poling operative, working on the BT ONSA contract in Hampshire and Berkshire including the Isle?of?Wight. You will be building/maintaining the BT Openreach telegraph pole network, replacing, planting,?dressing,?and maintaining poles.? Your day to day will include:
- Replacing "D" poles
- Planting and dressing new poles
- Maintaining the pole network
The role of HGV Poling operative is great for you if:
- You have poling experience working in the openreach overhead network
- Hold a full CAT C HGV driving licence with less than 3 points
- Driver CPC with a minimum of 6 months remaining on the qualification (Including a Digital Tachograph card)
- "Can Do" attitude and able to work outside in all weather conditions
- Poling relevant accreditations to be valid for a minimum of 4 months (demonstratable via Smart Awards)
