Breedon are currently seeking an aggregates and asphalt Technician based in Longwater in East Anglia.

You will be responsible for carrying out product compliance sampling and testing for the aggregates and asphalt we produce. You will input and interpret test data and produce reports of non-conforming material, ensuring corrective action is taken. Strong attention to detail is therefore essential. Good communication skills are also important as you will be liaising with a variety of stakeholders, including customers - to assist in the resolution of any issues - and our Laboratory and Technical Supervisors. It is also essential that you will maintain an awareness of site practices and quality procedures and take action where these may adversely affect product quality.

Previous laboratory experience in aggregates and/or asphalt testing is desirable.

A full driving licence is essential for you to be considered for this role as you will be required to drive a company van.
