This is an exciting opportunity for a mechanical engineer within the marine industry. Enjoy in-house training leading for you to become a key part across the companies mechanical engineering department. Due to work load, there is unlimited overtime available with a great package!
Our client are a marine engineering business supplying mechanical, electrical and welding services to some of the largest shipping companies in the UK/Europe. They act as the UK engineering division for an American owned global leader for transportation and travel experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Mechanical service & maintenance works within marine industry.
- Working with diesel engines, pumps, hydraulics etc.
- Mobile role covering mainly North Kent, East & South London with occasional visits to Gravesend workshop.
Background Required:
- Experience with industrial mechanical engineering.
- Experience with diesel fitting, pump repairs, fuel systems etc.
- Mechanical Engineering qualifications (NVQ/C&G/Apprenticeship).
