Location: Various sites across WF, LS, HX & HD postcodes
Base: Ideally located around Batley (travel radius approx. 15 miles)
Hours: 3 hours per day, 5 days a week (Monday-Friday, early mornings/evenings)
Pay Rate: £14.84 per hour

We are seeking a reliable and proactive Cleaning Supervisor for a temp to perm opportunity, with scope for long-term career progression into an Area Manager role.

This is an excellent opportunity for a supervisor looking to take the next step in their career within a growing business. The successful candidate will oversee cleaning operations across multiple client sites, support recruitment efforts, and help maintain high cleaning standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruiting, training, and managing cleaning operatives

  • Conducting site audits and ensuring compliance with cleaning standards

  • Assigning and managing staff rotas

  • Supporting new contract mobilisations

  • Using an iPad to log reports, audits, and scheduling

Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience in a cleaning supervisory role

  • Based in or near Batley to allow easy access to all sites

  • Flexible with early morning and evening hours

  • Tech-savvy - comfortable using an iPad for daily operations

  • Strong organisational and communication skills

  • Full UK driving licence and own vehicle required

Key Responsibilities Act as the first point of contact for tenants reporting repairs or maintenance issues via phone, email, or online portals.

Accurately log repair requests onto the housing management or repairs system, ensuring correct categorisation and priority levels in line with policy.

Liaise with operatives, contractors, and planners to schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring timely completion of works.

Update and maintain records of all repair jobs, including progress updates, completion notes, and follow-up actions.

Handle tenant enquiries and complaints professionally, providing updates and resolutions within agreed service standards.

Monitor job progress and escalate overdue or complex cases to the Repairs Team Leader or Manager as needed.

Raise purchase orders and invoices, ensuring accurate financial and administrative records.
