Job Description
We are partnering with a renowned International Engineering Consultancy to expand their Building Management Systems (BMS) team, focusing on the design and implementation of advanced BMS solutions for Data Centres.
Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing BMS strategies to optimize building operations and energy performance.
- Leading the development of 3D BIM models and line diagrams for BMS systems.
- Collaborating closely with architects, mechanical and electrical engineers, and structural teams to ensure seamless integration of BMS solutions.
- Overseeing system optimization throughout the planning process to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Identifying and resolving BMS-related challenges during design and construction phases.
- Providing technical guidance and support to on-site teams during execution and commissioning.
Requirements for the Role:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience, ideally with a focus on BMS design and implementation.
- Strong understanding of local regulations, standards, and industry best practices.
- Proficiency in Revit and other relevant design and simulation tools.
- Proven experience in leadership and project coordination within multidisciplinary teams.

My client, an established firm of PQS now seeks a QUANTITY SURVEYOR to join them in GERMANY.
You will work on a range of projects to include residential, hotels, offices, mixed use, industrial etc.
They are keen to find an experienced Quantity Surveyor who has both pre and post contract experience along with the ability to read contracts and understand them in German.
My client offers good prospects for promotion.
THE COMPANY
My client is a firm of PQS with a good range of clients mainly in the private sector.
They are a firm of construction consultants offering clients both cost management and project management services.
They have offices across the UK, Europe and further afield.
THE CANDIDATE
You will be an experienced Quantity Surveyor - ideally with a BSc Hons in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management or similar and possibly also be chartered with the RICS.
You should have worked for a firm of PQS and have both pre and post contract QS experience.
It is essential that you have an EU passport.
You will need to have fluent English and good German.
You should be keen to work as part of a friendly team as part of a large firm of construction consultants.
You must have excellent English both written and spoken along with good IT skills and have good client facing skills.
Salary is in very negotiable but probably in the region of Euro 60000 to 100000.

Job Title: CSA Engineer - Hyperscale Data Center Project
Location: Portugal
Job Type: Full-time
We are currently seeking a highly skilled CSA (Civil, Structural, Architectural) Engineer to join our team for an exciting new project involving the construction of a Hyperscale Data Center in Portugal. Currently, we're constructing multiple turnkey data centre projects in 7 different European countries, equating to over 430 MW of IT load in flight.
Responsibilities
- Checking works carried out and ensure quality control in maintained throughout
- Work part of the Quality team to ensure finished works meet standards required, managing quality of the works set against approved benchmarks, actively coordinate with the QA managers to ensure the correct documentation is submitted in a timely manner by the contractors.
- Liaise with sub-contractor's on tracking progress against schedule and Carry out sub-contractor meetings.
- Manage site documentation; RFI's, Tech subs, trackers, weekly and monthly reports, weekly vendor meetings and all documentation associated with the scope you are managing
- Attend and actively participate in Site Meetings, Internal Project Reviews, Engineering Reviews, Planning, Co-ordination and lookahead meetings, as well as Handover Meetings.
- Review drawings with design team and effectively solve any issues.
- Actively monitor and snag contractors works ensuring works is installed as per the approved drawings and spec ensuring the highest quality is achieved to ensure zero defects, snag list to be raised on the approved platform and issued to the contractors with follow up walks and close out reports to be issued in a timely manner as the approved QMS.
- Management of sub-contractor activities including tracking progress against schedule and manpower levels, ensure contractors are protecting finished works, prevent damage at all times, raise observations as required.
- Coordinate works ensuring all trades have adequate time, material and resources to complete their works on program.
- Manage health and safety, housekeeping material storage, actively participating in issuing the daily SPA's and permits, ensure works is carried out in accordance with the approved MSRA/ RAMS, participate in the daily DAB's and Whiteboard meetings ensuring contractors are aware of ongoing and upcoming works.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or similar is essential
- Ability to work on own initiative
- 3+ years' experience working on large scale projects
- Previous data centre experience
