Position: Paint Sprayer Type: Temporary Experience: 60:10 Trained (Essential)
Key Responsibilities
Apply intumescent coatings to WIN posts and structural steel components to project specifications.
Prepare steelwork, substrates, and work areas for coating application.
Operate airless spray equipment safely and efficiently.
Mix, measure, and apply intumescent products to exact manufacturer guidelines.
Carry out wet film thickness and dry film thickness (DFT) checks.
Record application data and complete compliance documentation.
Work alongside site supervisors, inspectors, and fire-protection teams.
Follow all relevant health & safety practices, including PPE and safe spraying protocols.
Maintain spray equipment and ensure clean, tidy working conditions.
Requirements
60:10 training/certification - essential.
Proven experience as an intumescent sprayer.
Strong understanding of fire-protection coating systems.
Ability to read and follow technical specifications.
CSCS card
Reliable, safety-minded, and able to work to deadlines.
Full driving licence advantageous.
