Long-Term Work | Major UK Infrastructure | Excellent Rates MSSI Group Ltd is recruiting experienced Pipelayers for long-term work on the HS2 project in B46 1TG. This is a major opportunity for operatives with proven deep drainage experience to join one of the UK's largest and most high-profile civil engineering schemes. Role Overview As a Pipelayer on HS2, you will be responsible for: Installing and laying deep drainage pipework to precise levels and tolerances Excavating and preparing trenches with machine operators Working with concrete, clay, plastic, and ductile iron pipe systems Ensuring correct bedding, alignment, and backfilling Reading and interpreting drainage drawings Supporting wider civils works and maintaining HS2 safety standards This role is essential to delivering HS2's drainage and utilities infrastructure. Job Details Location: B46 1TG Start Date: 5th January Duration: Long-term ongoing Shifts: 10 hours per day Rates £20.67 p/h - PAYE Direct £27.49 p/h - Overtime (after 10 hours daily) Long-term hours and regular overtime available. Deep Drainage Experience Essential We are looking for candidates with experience in: Deep trench drainage Large-diameter pipe installation Heavy civils or infrastructure projects ? Requirements You MUST have: Valid CSCS Card Manual Handling certificate Updated CV Strong deep drainage pipelaying experience Desirable: Confined Spaces, Cat & Genny, major civils experience.
