Provide commercial expertise to the company in relation to the contractual management of projects both pre and post contract to ensure that projects are completed within the projected time frame. Working closely with the projects Estimators and Surveyors, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a Worldwide company.
Duties:
Pricing, cost evaluations, analysis and management of suppliers and materials.
Ensure design feasibility relates to budget parameters.
Managing and negotiating all subcontractor and product supplier costs and contracts.
The candidate would need to have an electrical installation background and some basic computer skills; Excel, work and formatting emails etc.
The role would be predominantly office based with site surveys needed from time to time.
The role would entail developing a design would to be ready for construction consisting of drawings, costs, calculations etc.
Attend site to survey, schedule, price and scope works
Conduct pre-contract meeting with the relevant contractor
Manage/oversee the direct trades/sub- contractors to completion of works
Validate variation requests as necessary
Experience:
Quantity Surveying or Estimating experience would be ideal not required
Preparation of contracts
Commercial experience
Minimum 2 years' experience withing contracting work
