Position Overview:
Great opportunity for an enthusiastic Project Planner to contribute to the successful execution of a Data Center project in London. The ideal candidate will play a key role in developing project schedules, monitoring progress, and ensuring the timely delivery of project milestones.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project teams to create and maintain detailed project schedules using industry-standard planning tools (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project).
- Ensure that project schedules align with overall project objectives and client expectations.
- Work closely with project managers to assess resource requirements and allocate resources effectively.
- Monitor resource utilization and proactively address any potential conflicts or bottlenecks.
- Implement robust monitoring and reporting mechanisms to track project progress against established schedules.
- Provide regular updates to project teams and management on project milestones and timelines.
- Identify potential risks to project timelines and work collaboratively with project teams to develop mitigation strategies.
- Maintain a proactive approach to resolving scheduling-related challenges.
- Facilitate clear and effective communication regarding project schedules with clients, consultants, and internal teams.
- Respond promptly to inquiries and provide accurate information related to project timelines.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree in degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Project Planner.
- Proficient in project management software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
