The Company

Gleeson Built Environment is working on an exclusive basis with a growing UK Network Service Provider who is all about making digital infrastructure simple and more accessible. Our client brings together mobile operators, central and local government and real estate asset owners to work together in new an innovative ways making sure that people can get and stay connected.


The Opportunity

Our client acquires sites to develop as telecommunication base stations (masts and rooftops) to create a sustainable long-term asset. In this multi-faceted role you will be responsible for driving property acquisitions and project coordination, supporting their end-to-end deployment management teams.
Based from Essex, the Property Project Manager role will be involved in the whole process from site acquisition to construction and ongoing management, so you will need to be adaptable and ensure engagement, alignment and clear communication across the team and external stakeholders.

The Responsibilities

  • Project management co-ordination - property acquisition, site design, town planning, instructing solicitors, construction, site handover, site management, lease renewals, alterations.
  • Site feasibility and acquisition reporting, planning, deployment ,
  • Managing complex stakeholder and 3rd party relationships at differing seniority levels.
  • Recommend and execute property acquisition decisions for major clients and customers.
  • Manage and own regular commercial meetings
  • Business Issue / Risks Escalation when required
  • Responsible for tracking, assessing and driving project performance improvements

The Requirements

  • Based from the Hertfordshire/ Essex area, the Property Project Manager role will suit a property professional, potentially with a commercial property background, general practice or building surveyor or someone with a relevant background or who is seeking a change in direction and committed to learning quickly.
  • You will possess construction knowledge and be adaptable - would suit a property professional, potentially with a commercial property background, general practice or building surveyor or someone with a relevant background or who is seeking a change in direction and committed to learning quickly
  • Proven influence and persuasion skills to lead, negotiate and provide key commercial input into strategic property decision and strategies.
  • Proven ability to work well in cross functional teams and develop strong working relationships, alongside challenging stakeholders where required
  • Able to establish rapport and credibility quickly
  • Be a team player and able to lead when required


The Proposal

Based from our clients office on the Hertfordshire/ Essex border the Property Project Manager will travel occasionally to site but spend most of your time as part of the central team in the local area. You will have the chance to grow and progress within a thriving organisation and receive a salary of up to £60,000 plus enhanced pension, private medical and further benefits.
