Quality Engineer
April 18, 2019 | Comments Off on Quality Engineer
We are working with a relatively new company who are already seeing success, with a product that is in huge demand, and the factory is already busy fulfilling their existing orders with more orders on their way. The company is keen to instil a culture of collaboration, placing a huge priority on its people. Although benefits are still being finally formalised, they are already offering (in addition to their competitive salaries) a bonus scheme, health insurance, a good holiday allowance and health and death in service insurance.
As Quality Engineer, your role will contain a good variety, working with the shop floor and operations team and be the liaison point between your colleagues and your suppliers and customers. There will be a significant amount of training, coaching and mentoring involved to help ensure the product leaves the factory on time and to the (high) standards required (quality and precision are a key element of this product). You will be a key driving factor in both compliance and quality improvement.
We are keen to hear from you if you are:
Qualified to degree level in a technical, engineering or business discipline
Solid experience in a quality engineering role, in construction, manufacturing or engineering
Experience ideally in ISO 9001 (or similar) audits and a good knowledge of quality planning tools (FMEA, PCP, etc) and lean manufacturing (including Six Sigma ideally)
Excellent communicator both verbal and written
Collaborative team player, able to lead by example
Does this read like your ideal job?
If you are appointed in this role, you will be joining a team of highly enthusiastic and motivated professionals, who are fully engaged in this exciting business.
Please apply today, or if you would like to discuss in confidence, please call Craig Nicholls on 0117 959 2008.
Key skills: Quality Engineer, ISO9001, Six Sigma, FMEA
