Salary: £23,500 - £32,000 dependant on experience
Based In Loughborough, Leicestershire but easily commutable from Leicester, Nottingham & Derby and West Midlands.
Job Description Working as part of the Operations team, you will be responsible for performing a range of quality assurance tasks, working closely with management to ensure all Quality, Health and Safety risks are understood, and appropriate mitigation action implemented. You will be responsible for leading activities to maintain accreditations to ISO45001 and ISO14000. You will provide advice and support to ensure the organisation meets legal and moral obligations to maintain their current high levels of Quality and Health and Safety You will be a champion of APQP (advanced product quality planning) during the development of new products to ensure customer timely customer approval of PSW (part submission warrants).

What will I need to be successful? You will hold either a HNC or City & Guilds qualification in a relevant discipline. You will hold a NEBOSH Certificate or ISOH Managing Safely, along with an ISO9000 & ISO45000 audit qualification. An IATF16949, AS9100 or ISO14001 audit qualification is desirable but not essential. You will have experience of using quality tools, such as APQP, FMEA, SPC, 8D, PSW. Proven working knowledge of PUWER regulations is essential. You will also have good working knowledge of other relevant health & safety legislation, such as COSHH, DSEAR, Hazardous Voltage, LEV and PSSR. It is important that you have excellent communication skills and you are able to work effectively in a team.
