A leading consultancy is seeking a Quantity Surveyor in Stockton-on-tees to contribute to delivering excellence and integrity across high-profile UK infrastructure projects. This role offers the opportunity to work within diverse sectors, including rail, highways, utilities, defence, energy, and aviation. The successful candidate will play a key role in fostering long-term client relationships while also supporting colleagues' career growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cost planning and estimation across project lifecycles.
  • Producing estimates and budget reviews across multiple sectors.
  • Collecting, analysing, and defining client and stakeholder needs.
  • Producing analysis and benchmarking reports to drive value for money.
  • Ensuring accurate and up-to-date data reporting.
  • Championing innovation both within the organisation and on the client side.
  • Supporting or leading tool development that integrates data, dashboards, and unit cost analyses.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.

What You Bring:

  • Experience in commercial roles for large capital programmes.
  • Preferably experienced within the UK complex infrastructure sector.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with strong mathematical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Commercial focus, helping shape investment decisions based on value for money.
  • Effective workload planning and prioritisation skills, with the ability to present outputs clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
