As the Quarry Manager based at Temple Quarry in the South East Scotland Region, you enjoy working in a 'hands on' position efficiently managing a busy Quarry alongside a close-knit group of colleagues.
You're not someone who likes to sit in an office all day; although there will be a large element of People Management and Paperwork, the ability to be out on site being involved in the operation is part of the role. From overseeing the production of washed sands and gravels, maintenance activities on both fixed and mobile plant, and effectively planning and organising quarrying operations including overburden and restoration tasks - each day is guaranteed to be different.
As our next Quarry Manager, you'll be responsible for the safe and efficient management and operation of a busy quarry covering the production of aggregates whilst driving forwards our standards of excellence in all aspects of Health, Safety and Environmental Management; you will be a leading contributor to the Company's zero harm culture.
