Remote - Occasional Travel to site in Europe

Senior Planners with experience on Hyperscale Data Centre construction projects will enjoy working for a Data Centre operator with rapid expansion plans across Europe in the next few years.

This is a fantastic opportunity for Senior Planners with leadership experience managing multiple projects to join a client organization and lead the scheduling delivery across a region of Europe. These projects will be from concept through to completion, whilst managing the supply chain and taking ownership of the work from a Scheduling perspective.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive regional data center planning strategies aligned with the company's overall objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including real estate, operations, engineering, and sales teams, to gather data and insights for effective decision-making.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, site evaluations, and due diligence to assess the viability of new data center projects.
  • Define and manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure timely and cost-effective execution of regional data center initiatives.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with external partners, vendors, and government agencies to facilitate permit approvals, zoning requirements, and compliance with local regulations.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning processes, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data center planning and design.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction or Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in Hyperscale data center planning from preconstruction through to completion, ideally within EMEA.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders, and drive consensus.
  • Exceptional project management abilities, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage competing deadlines, and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Thorough understanding and experience using P6 and/or Asta Project
