What is the role and project?

To provide the construction management for a work package/section within the project, sub-project, or site.
- Construction is underway on the expansion of the iconic redevelopment of London Olympia. The Olympia redevelopment project will create a new cultural hub in West London with a four-screen arthouse cinema, restaurants, shops, cafés and 550,000 sq. ft of office and co-working space.
What are the key responsibilities?
- You will contribute to the achievement of Laing O' Rourke safety targets and zero tolerance of unsafe working practices and occurrences
- To deliver the section packages to the client within budget, quality, and time parameters
- To work with the planning team to develop detailed short-term programmes of work
- To manage the budget and delivery of the section of the project
- To plan the programming of day-to-day resource requirements and communicate these to the team
What are the desired skills?
- Detailed knowledge of Health and Safety legislation
- Experience in both project delivery and handover
- Thorough understanding of project flow and demand fulfillment
- The ability to work with initiative when outside influences affect planned operations
