My client, a Tier 1 contractor in the Fit Out sector, is looking for a Senior Site Manager to join their team, project based in New Malden, London.

You will, as the Senior Fit-Out Site Manager, play a pivotal role in steering a high-value project to success, combining strategic leadership, technical expertise, and a commitment to delivering exceptional fit-out solutions in the accommodation and office sectors.

Responsibilities

Develop comprehensive project plans, including time lines, resource allocation, and budgetary considerations for Category A and B fit-out projects in the accommodation and office sectors.

  • Provide strong leadership to the project team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work culture.
  • Oversee all aspects of the fit-out project, ensuring seamless coordination among various teams, including contractors, subcontractors, and consultants.
  • Implement effective project management methodologies to meet and exceed project milestones within the allocated budget and timeline.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong and positive relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and designers to ensure the successful translation of design concepts into built environments.
  • Proactively identify potential risks and challenges associated with the project, developing and implementing risk mitigation strategies to safeguard project success.
  • Oversee the financial aspects of the project, including budget development, cost control, and financial reporting.
  • Implement rigorous quality control measures to ensure that Category A and B fit-out elements meet or exceed industry standards and client expectations.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Skills/Experience Required

  • 5yrs+ construction experience working on fit out projects up to £70m as part of a team, preferable experience as a number 2 on site
  • CSCS manager's card, First aid, SMSTS, Working At Height
  • IOSH
  • HND / Degree qualified
  • Proven leader with ability to manage and motivate a team of site-based construction professionals
