We at Protocol are working with established college on the flourishing channel island of Guernsey. This college has over 5,000 enrolments each year and offers a wide range of courses for the Bailiwick community.

With the interest in construction courses on the rise we are seeking a well-established and motivated individual who strives to deliver engaging lessons and has the passion to inspire the next generation of construction professionals.

Guernsey is not only home to the world-famous Guernsey cow but also that of many an exciting lecturing opportunity. The Pearl of the English channel, this island steeped in history would make a perfect temporary home for an experienced Built Environment Lecturer.

This contract is due to commence on a full-time basis in December 2019 on an ongoing basis until approximately December 2020. There is the possibility for this to be a temporary to permanent post for the right candidate.

Flights and accommodation are paid for for the duration of the contract; flights are covered at the start and end of each term with the option of a ferry for those who wish to take their vehicles.

Role responsibilities
Delivery of the BTEC Sports and Public Services level 1 -3 courses
Support college students both pastorally and academically
Adhere to all college policies including Safeguarding and Equality and Diversity
Complete all planning and preparation for lessons
The person & qualifications
Hold a related qualification at level 3/degree
Hold a teaching qualification
Previous experience of teaching Sports and Public Services at levels 1 -3
