£20,000-£35,000

We are looking for a Structural Detailer with an interest in structural steel detailing to join an expanding team who offer bespoke Light Gauge Frame and Structural Steelwork solutions across an extensive range of construction projects.

You will be working on structural steel modelling using Tekla Structures and producing General Arrangements, Fabrication drawings and CAM data. You will be working with your colleagues in manufacturing and construction as well as your Engineer colleagues and liaising with Architects and Clients (the majority of whom are Main Contractors who have become regular customers over time). You will be given training in Tekla software as well as the company's own light gauge steel framing system.


Responsibilities of the Role:
:: Working in the drawing office, you will be responsible for producing 3D models of LGSF projects using Tekla Structures.
:: Producing and checking general arrangements, fabrication drawings and CAM data.
:: Using the company's in house works management systems (training will be provided)
:: Liaising with other staff, customers and the design team to help ensure projects are completed accurately and on time

What is needed for the role?
:: Have at least 2 years experience using Tekla Structures.
:: Come from a steel framing or structural steelwork background.
:: Have a good eye for detail
:: Be able to work on their own initiative
:: Take pride in their work
:: Have good communication skills, with ability to work well in a team
