Workplace Strategy Consultant Job in London

Our client is currently expanding their business and looking to appoint a Workplace Strategy Consultant or Workplace Strategy Associate/Director on a full-time permanent basis, working from their office in Central London. Offering a salary of up to £75,000 + car allowance + bonus + hybrid working.

The role of Workplace Strategy Consultant will see you joining a newly established department within a reputable property and construction consultancy business based in the heart of London. You will be from either a workplace consultancy background or prior experience as an interior designer/architect looking to move into a consultative/strategic role with a growing company. The business thrives on collaboration and provides a high level of service to its clients across the UK. Your role will be varied, covering all stages of workplace consultancy and interacting with the supporting departments on almost a daily basis.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Liaise directly with clients (business owners, C-level staff, department leaders) to understand their business requirements, long-term objectives, and focus points for their workspaces
  • Develop client presentations with the in-house bids team and deliver them
  • Researching, space planning, feasibility studies
  • Consulting with business owners and employees to provide informed decisions and proposals
  • Work closely with the head of the department to establish the direction of the department and expansion
  • Business development and networking with industry contacts
  • Support with pitch context creation and direction
  • Contribute to and develop client reports and case studies

Required Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years' experience in either workplace design or workplace consultancy/strategy
  • Understanding of HR, resource management and IT functions
  • Ideally an understanding of the workplace design process and knowledge of interior design from a design or architectural background
  • Exceptional client-facing and presentation skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • User of AutoCAD, Revit, and InDesign, highly desirable but not essential
  • Analytical thinker
