Role: Plumber
Salary: £16.56 per hour + additional hourly rate for merits (up to £4.73) and overtime where applicable
Role based: York
We are seeking a Plumber to join our York Hire Centre. As a plumber you will refurbish and fit out the complete range of Portakabin buildings to the highest possible standards, specialising in the area of plumbing.
As a Plumber, you will:
* Ensure compliance relevant Health and Safety practices and all applicable legislation to encourage and maintain zero harm environment and culture.
* Design and install cold water supplies, drainage and sanitation, hot water and heating systems incorporating all types of plumbing materials.
* Conduct work activities on unvented water heating systems.
* Carry out all aspects of testing and inspection of plumbing installations, including the completion of appropriate documentation/certification.
* Conduct fault finding and rectification of existing systems both on and off site.
* You will also be expected to carry out general duties such as refurbishment and craning.

Our Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
* Holds a recognised Plumbing Apprenticeship Scheme / Indentures and City & Guilds Craft in Plumbing or Advanced Craft in Plumbing
* Previous experience working within the construction industry
* Will also have an understanding of the relevant health and safety practices and applicable legislation.
* You should have strong communication skills able to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers in order to deliver a high level of customer service.
* Holds a full UK Driving License

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly detailed and exceptional
Service Administrator to join our successful service team in our Manchester Hire & Visitor Centre (Oldham) where you will be working in a positive, fast paced environment.
This role is offered on a fixed term contract for 6-12 months.
Reporting to the Service Manager, you will provide administrative support in the delivery and management of Service tasks, assisting to ensure effective cost and programme control at all times.
As a Service Administrator, you will:
* Assist with the coordination and control of allocations working to planned costs and within agreed timescales.
* Assist in providing an efficient after sales service to customers including the Divisional rectification process.
* Assist with the production of Method Statements, Risk Assessments, Drawings and Delivery Schedules on a task specific basis.
* Effectively use internal systems (SAP and others) to identify issues, record and analyse costs.
* Support the Service Manager in processing timesheets for hourly paid colleagues.
* Ensure all Portakabin Products are dispatched in line with Visual Quality Standards and IAuditor software
* Control building terminations including reports and ensure damage charges where applicable.
* Management of Hire Division stock holding including "as is" drawings for all stock buildings.

Responsibilities:
Carry out 1st and 2nd fix carpentry, including door hanging, skirting, architraves, and flooring.
Install and repair timber structures, including kitchen units, worktops, and built-in furniture.
Replace and repair fire doors and frames to current regulations.
Work in both occupied and void domestic properties with a focus on quality and tenant satisfaction.
Conduct minor multi-trade tasks where required (e.g., patch plastering, basic tiling).
Ensure all works are completed in line with health and safety standards.
Use a PDA or mobile device to receive and close out jobs with accurate notes and photos.
Requirements:
