Our client manufacture and supply a wide range of precision linear slides and associated components for automation and special purpose machine projects. To support their continued growth, the Research & Development Department is looking for a DESIGN ENGINEER to join their team based in Devon.
To focus on:
:: Designing new and improved products from concept to manufacture.
:: Support and maintenance of existing products.
:: Creation of product documentations, including CAD models, drawings, instructions, manuals and catalogues.
:: Undertake testing of products and developing procedures.
Who are we looking to speak to?
:: Relevant qualifications in Mechanical Engineering/Building/Architectural Technology or Construction related
:: Previous experience as a Design Engineer role (ideally 2 years)
:: AutoCAD knowledge is essential - if you can use Solidworks that is advantageous
:: Strong Attention to detail
:: Commercially aware and able to self-motivate
