Plant Maintenance Fitter / Mechanical Fitter
We are looking for an experienced Fixed Plant Maintenance Fitter to join our busy maintenance team based at Leaton Quarry, located near Telford.
Your responsibilities will include the maintenance of all fixed plant consisting of Silo's, Hopper's, Conveyors along with Fabrication and welding of the fixed plant.
Applicants for this position should have qualifications in mechanical fitting / fabrication with a good attitude towards health & safety and ideally have experience in the construction industry or other heavy industries and have excellent organisational and housekeeping standards.
You should have the ability to work on your own initiative to solve problems and deal with breakdowns or as part of a team and also be able to follow a scheduled maintenance scheme as well as being able to react quickly and work safely in breakdown situations.
A full driving licence is essential.
Electrical knowledge preferred but not essential.
