We are working for a well-established ventilation equipment company who are looking to recruit a Sales Engineer who can take advantage of a buoyant mechanical and electrical contractor led sector. Our client deals with Mechanical & Electrical Consultants who specify their solutions and in addition work with Mechanical & Electrical Contractors who actually place the orders.

Installations are performed by their own installation and commissioning team and are aimed at the following applications: New Build (Large retail, manufacturers, food production environments, hospitals etc. etc.,), refurbishment of existing installations and in addition where new equipment is being installed.

You will have an office base to work out of (choose from several that are commutable) and prospect for business with Consultants following through becoming specified to the Mechanical and Electrical Contractors who actually place the orders. There is the opportunity to work with their existing clients to increase the volume of orders and in addition to target new consultants and contractors to win projects. Due to high levels of customer service and their ability to compete on very favourable terms with their largest competitors you will then enjoy a high level of repeat business from these new customers.

Covering the Midlands and the South of England where there is the most volume of enquiries you will enjoy the support of your line manager who has over 20 year's service with his employer and in addition the opportunity to work with their estimating, design and project management team who are down to earth, friendly and personable.

We seek sales people who have:

: Obtained specifications for any products that are specified by M & E Consultants
: Turned these specifications into winning orders with M & E Contractors
: Possess a genuine desire to earn in excess of £55,000 (ote) based on commission on each order whilst supported with a good basic salary
: Happy to cover a large territory (commute or stay away when required)
: Want to enjoy a long and stable track record with a friendly team
