A main contractor is currently seeking a Section Engineer for work on Network Rail Line. THIS POSITON IS 40 HOURS PER WEEK MONDAY TO FRIDAY. THERE WILL BE SOME WEEKEND WORK BUT MONDAY TO FRIDAY IS 8 HOURS PER DAY.

The works include civils and Track maintenance work - mostly track side, line upgrade and P-Way.

Role: Within this role you would be responsible for, but not limited to, any of the following;

* Producing work package plans, risk assessments and method statements

* Managing Subbies

* Carrying out of quality assurance

* Meeting deadlines

* Producing activity control, inspection and test plans

* Ensuring a safe working practice

Skills:

* Previously worked as a Section Engineer for a main contractor

* Experience working with Network Rail is mandatory

*PTS essential

* Experience working on a rail project is mandatory

* Hold a valid CSCS card.

* BSc or BEng level qualification in a Civil Engineering allied subject or HNC/HND or the equivalent.
