Protocol are working with a fantastic School in Guernsey to recruit a Sensory and Communication Teacher. This role will be within a complex needs class and the individual needs to have PMLD/SLD experience.



Role responsibilities
To prepare, use and maintain specialist equipment, plans and resources necessary to support learning activities
The delivery of high quality teaching and learning
Improving and extending professional effectiveness






The person & qualifications
A suitable teaching qualification with recent experience of teaching pupils with SLD and Autism in either the primary or secondary phase.
Experience of delivering a sensory-led curriculum and the ability to track progress accordingly.
Inspirational teaching skills and the ability to motivate learners, equipping them with the knowledge and skills needed to improve and sustain high standards of learning and achievement for all pupils, in particular those with SLD and Autism
An ability to demonstrate recent effective strategies to achieve high quality teaching and learning
