4P Manager

Location: Crawley

Kier Construction Southern are looking to recruit a 4P Manager to report in to the Pre-Construction Director.

Role:

  • Set up projects and hold the full administration access rights for the project.
  • Attend a 4P project set up meeting at the start of a project to agree the 4P, procedures, duties and how the project is to be set up
  • Be responsible for setting up the folders and associated access rights on 4P in accordance with the Kier standards and project specific project requirements. This is to include the setting up of dynamic / static folders
  • Set up all transmittals as agreed with the DM and PM including the associated access rights for users
  • Create [if required] and maintain the work flow for the project
  • Be responsible for adding users to the project, adding users to transmittals including access rights as agreed with the DM and PM
  • Be the point of contract for 4P user questions such as access issues, how to upload and the like.
  • Resolve 4P system errors and issues with 4P directly, such as drawings being inaccessible, information not being able to be uploaded and transmittals not being issued with links etc. Keep the DM and PM abreast of any issues that are arising.
  • The upload of information onto 4P for users who do not have 4P access or have not agreed to 4P usage like clients / utilities, etc.
  • The creation of drawing registers through 4P on request of the PM/DM/QS
  • To carry out 4P training for internal and external staff.
  • Manage the QA check element of the 4P work flow: On submission of a document check that it has been uploaded correctly [correct revision, correct title, Cad file as an attachment etc.
  • Run weekly reports for the DM & PM
  • Create and maintain 4P guidance notes
Experience and Knowledge required

  • Minimum of 3 years Document Controller experience
  • Can demonstrate experience and in depth knowledge of using 4P
