Job Title: Supervisor (Civils)
Location: Norwich - Junction Works (A47 Thickthorn Area)
Job Type: Full-Time, Ongoing
Hours: Monday to Friday | 10-hour shifts
Start Date: Starting Mid September
Pay: £22.98 PAYE DIRECT Rate. Overtime (after 10 hours) paid at 1.33x. Weekend work paid at 1.5x.
Job Description:
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Civils Supervisor to join our team on a major junction improvement project in the Norwich area. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising day-to-day site operations, ensuring productivity, maintaining high standards of health & safety, and supporting the delivery of works to specification and deadline. You will be working on a highways project, on Piling and infrastructure works including two new slip roads.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee and coordinate site teams and subcontractors
* Ensure works are carried out safely, efficiently, and to the required standard
* Monitor progress and report any issues to the Site Manager
* Conduct site inductions and daily briefings
* Maintain records of daily activities and progress
* Promote a positive and safe working environment
Requirements:
* Valid CSCS Card (Gold minimum preferred)
* SSSTS or SMSTS (Essential)
* Proven experience in a supervisory role on civils or infrastructure projects
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Ability to read and understand drawings and method statements
* Full PPE
