Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled ICT Package Manager with expertise in Extra-Low Voltage (ELV) systems to oversee the ICT and ELV aspects of the construction of a state-of-the-art data centre. The successful candidate will manage the planning, execution, and delivery of all ICT and ELV-related packages, ensuring that systems are installed, integrated, and tested in accordance with project timelines, budget, and quality standards.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge of ICT and ELV systems in data centre environments, excellent project management skills, and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, contractors, and vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Coordination:

Lead the coordination of the ICT and ELV packages for the data centre construction, including networking, communication, structured cabling, security, access control, and monitoring systems.

Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets for ICT and ELV packages, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.

Oversee the procurement process for all ICT and ELV-related equipment, liaising with suppliers and vendors to ensure the correct materials are delivered on time and within budget.

Design & Implementation:

Work closely with the design and engineering teams to ensure ICT and ELV infrastructure designs meet the technical and operational requirements for the data centre.

Manage the implementation of ICT and ELV systems, including network cabling, server racks, CCTV, public address, intercom systems, fire alarm systems, and security systems.

Supervise the installation of ICT and ELV systems and ensure integration with the building's core infrastructure, including power, cooling, and fire suppression systems.

ELV System Management:

Oversee the installation and integration of Extra-Low Voltage (ELV) systems, including but not limited to, structured cabling, access control, CCTV, audio-visual systems, PA (Public Address), and fire alarm systems.

Ensure all ELV systems are designed and installed in line with local codes, industry standards (e.g., BS 7671), and best practices.

Coordinate the testing, commissioning, and handover of ELV systems, ensuring they meet operational requirements and functionality.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • A degree in Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Electrical Engineering, or a related field is highly desirable. Equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in ICT and ELV package management, with a proven track record of managing large-scale ICT and ELV packages for data centre or similar infrastructure projects.
  • Experience with ICT infrastructure design, installation, and integration, as well as ELV systems including structured cabling, CCTV, security systems, PA systems, fire alarms, and access control systems.
