Lead BMS Engineer
Clear. are seeking a highly skilled Lead BMS Engineer to oversee Building Management Systems (BMS) across large-scale data centre operations in Paris. This is a senior role, combining technical expertise with leadership responsibility, ensuring system reliability, efficiency and continuous optimisation.
You will be the subject matter expert for all BMS-related matters, driving system strategy, supporting design reviews and ensuring operational excellence while mentoring a team of engineers.

Responsibilities:
Lead the design, implementation, and optimisation of BMS systems across data centre operations.
Act as the technical authority for all BMS-related matters, supporting projects from concept through to operation.
Manage and mentor junior engineers, providing technical guidance and support.
Oversee BMS maintenance, fault-finding and system upgrades to ensure maximum uptime and reliability.
Collaborate with vendors, contractors and internal teams to manage system integration and performance testing.
Support sustainability initiatives by optimising system performance and identifying opportunities for efficiency.
Experience Required:
Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Controls, or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience in BMS engineering within mission-critical environments, ideally data centres.
Strong understanding of BMS architecture, controls logic, and integration with MEP systems.
Hands-on experience with leading BMS platforms (e.g., Trend, Siemens, Schneider, Honeywell, etc.).
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities (French and English).
Leadership experience with the ability to mentor and manage engineering teams.
