Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service within a fast paced, environment? Do you enjoy problem solving and working as part of a team? Do you enjoy building customer relationships and working within a varied role? If so, we are looking for a Customer Service Administrator to work between our two busy operational Steel and Metals terminals supporting a large customer base.

Your role:

Working within a busy gatehouse you will be the first point of contact for hauliers and visitors arriving on site. You will join a small and be working closely with cargo agents and customers supporting their requirements and problem solving to provide the best service possible. You will be managing a busy shared inbox, liaising with operational staff and handling day to day queries regarding stock that has been discharged from vessels. As the face of the Steel and Metals department this is a great opportunity to develop your knowledge and skills within a busy operational department.

What you'll bring

You will have experience within a customer service role ideally within a logistical or operational environment

- You will have a proven track record of handling challenging issues with a professional manner - You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive in a fast paced ever changing environment

- You will have an energetic, can do approach, to help achieve the departmental goals A

45 hours per week Monday to Friday, covering 6-3, 7-4 or 8-5 The role covers 2 sites at the Port Some flexibility is required, dependent on operations.

Rate of pay £12.21 training then after completion £13.25
